The Asheville Cinema Society (ACS) was formed with the aim to inspire, enhance awareness of, and support new and seasoned independent filmmakers. The carefully selected motion pictures include not yet released films or films that would not otherwise be shown in the Asheville area. Special guests of each film such as the director, producer, or actors are at the screening to provide insight into the making of the film. They answer questions immediately after the screening as well as talk with ACS Members at a reception following. Film Screenings occur on two Tuesdays per month at the Regal Biltmore Grande Stadium in Biltmore Park.
