About William Mangum
William (Bill) Mangum is one of the most popular and respected artists in North Carolina. From the Outer Banks to the mountains, his North Carolina art showcases the beauty of the state. Starting with a 59-cent tray of watercolors, Bill has produced more than 3,000 art originals — all drawn from his thirty-two years of travels throughout North Carolina and abroad. From the Cape Hatteras shore line to the breath taking Linville Falls, North Carolina’s unique bounty of subject matter has afforded this native son a lifetime of extraordinary themes. Bill has self-published over 300 paintings as limited edition art prints. More than 50,000 of his works have made their way into private and corporate collections! Today six books celebrate Bill’s diverse painting style as he celebrates life through art.

At his North Carolina art gallery in Greensboro, and in their online store, you’ll find an array of Bill’s newest original art paintings. Six to eight original paintings are published into limited edition art prints each year. Bill’s paintings have been reproduced into a variety of stylish gift items. You’ll find everything from note cards to entertaining puzzles that feature his extraordinary artwork.
