Welcome to Asheville

Your first stop in Asheville should be the spiffy new Visitor Center on the edge of downtown at 36 Montford Avenue near I-240, exit 4C. Housed in the recently built Asheville Area Chamber of Commerce headquarters, the center offers comprehensive information services for travelers. Their very knowledgeable staff will help with directions and give you plenty of maps and brochures. Their store has the best selection of Asheville souvenirs in town. The center also has free parking, WiFi Internet access, and seasonal art demonstrations.

Stop by from 9 a.m until 5 p.m. seven days a week.
